I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were well rounded and there were excellent descriptions of the Drakensberg's natural beauty without being too "windy". The story line was easy to follow and interesting.
I read this story twice, about 5 months apart and was still held in suspense the second time around. I could literally feel the tension in the pit of my stomach. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, it was easy to ready and I could picture myself in the setting, having visited the area numerous times myself.
MOST enjoyable short story with a local flavor

Was easy reading. Felt like I was there! Could so identify with the 'berg being quiet and serene, but could also be threatening and scary given the wrong circumstances.
